On April 4-5, 2008, IAPCHE hosted the 7th annual consultation of agencies involved in Christian primary, elementary, secondary, and higher education. The consultation, co-sponsored by Alta Vista, a Seattle-based educational service organization, was held at Bellevue Christian School in Bellevue, Washington.
At the April consultation, delegates voiced the need to learn from each other and “not re-invent the wheel” when taking on a project to assist Christian education in another country. James Vreugdenhil has shared such a model about his work in Niger, “The Effects of the SIM Christian Teacher Training Program on the Classroom Teaching-Learning Process.” Click here to read the report.

Collaborative Teacher Education Project
This project was approved at the International IAPCHE Conference in August 2000. The Dordt College Center for Educational Services proposed to create a partnership designed to promote Christian teacher training around the world.
We hope to hold the next consultation in 2011. For more information, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
