|The Global Christian Higher Education project is a collaborative research program on international Christian higher education co-sponsored by IAPCHE, the Nagel Institute for the Study of World Christianity, and Baylor University. The research project has compiled a database which will feature information about Christian colleges and universities from all over the world. Specifically, information such as contact information, (address, phone, e-mail, and web address) as well as when the institution began, denominational affiliation, enrollment, courses of study, and language instruction. The data will also provide the basis for a future edited book on the state and growth of Christian higher education around the world. The following links will open a new window with the current data on each region. This site features a list of all Christian colleges and universities that are in the database as well as multiple ways to download the data. Please see explanation for our definiton of a Christian college or university. How to view the data:Online: Click this option to view the data in your web browser. A new browser window will open. For optimal viewing of the formatting, make sure the new browser window is fully maximized. The pages will show a “Table of Contents” for the entire region, displaying the institution’s name and country. All entries are in alphabetical order by country.
PDF File: Click this link to view the data as an adobe PDF file. You will need adobe reader in order to view this file which can be downloaded for free from www.adobe.com This type of file preserves attractive formatting and is useful for viewing and printing. Adobe reader also allows a “find” function which could be useful for searching any of the lists for specific information.
Text File: Click this link to view the data as a simple text file. Useful for a simply formatted file that is very small in size.
