IAPCHE has extended the deadline to register for the 3rd Biennial North American Regional Conference on "Internationalizing Christian Higher Education: Learning to Listen, Listening to Learn." Don't miss this opportunity to gather with other scholars, faculty, staff leaders, and campus administrators from across the country and globe. Already registered are individuals from 12 different countries and nearly 60 different institutions.
Plenary speakers will be theologian and community development specialist Ruth Padilla-DeBorst speaking on "Pulling the sticks out of our ears: re-casting our categories so the sun can come up" and faith-based global leadership expert, Faith W. Ngunjiri, speaking on " Listen. Learn. Lead: Leveraging Margins and Intersections."
A plenary panel on interfaith dialogue titled, “From a Dialogue of Words to a Dialogue of Action” will feature Kurt Berends and both Christian and Muslim panelists from the IDEA Fund. A second plenary panel on “Listening and Learning Across Deep Divisions” will feature expert peacebuilding consultant, Ron Kraybill; global diversity and inclusion strategist, Skot Welch; and Professor of Psychology and former Provost, Claudia Beversluis.
Please join us as we explore challenging questions and build our capacities to listen in order to be more effective leaders. Register here before 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Monday, May 29.
