Madras Christian College (Autonomous) & International Network for Christian Higher Education (INCHE) present “Nuances of Scientific Writing and Publishing” (A Three Day Workshop)
Join fellow researchers at this workshop hosted by CSI Engineering College of Ketti, Nilgris, India.
This workshop, directed by leaders from Madras Christian College, offers a researcher awareness of and learning needed for the field of research. The sessions will equip the researcher with a solid foundation on integrity in research, scientific writing and manuscript publishing. Each lecture will include interesting insights and learning along with hands-on sessions where required, helping to train researchers in the various nuances of scientific writing and publishing. A collection of resource persons from across academic disciplines will help the participants through one-on-one discussion sessions throughout the program. On completion of the workshop, the researcher will have in-depth knowledge about writing a manuscript and will be able to identify an indexed journal for publishing.
By the end of the program, Faculty will be able to
Understand the nuances and ethics of scientific writing and research.
Utilize a new awareness of and access to research databases and metrics.
Develop a manuscript that can be refined for publication.
Identify quality indexed journals by staying away from predatory and cloned journals.
Understand the process of submitting a manuscript to an indexed journal.
